About Vida

Vida was created by Susan Harding and has been a place of calm, care and wellbeing since 2003. From the very beginning, my aim has been to create a peaceful, welcoming space where you can take time out from everyday life, relax, and simply be yourself.

Over the years, Vida has grown to offer far more than beauty treatments alone. Today, it combines beauty, therapies and wellbeing support, allowing me to care for each person as an individual and tailor every appointment to their needs.

My Journey

My career began in the nail and beauty industry, and over the years I’ve been fortunate to build extensive knowledge and experience across a wide range of treatments. As a Specialist Nail Technician and Beauty Therapist, I’ve always believed that feeling good isn’t just about appearance—it’s about confidence, self-care and taking time for yourself.

In 2009, I completed my City & Guilds PTTLS Teaching Certificate at Blackpool & The Fylde College, which led to an exciting opportunity as an educator for an international nail company, travelling throughout the UK delivering professional training. During this time, I specialised in teaching advanced nail and brow techniques and became the first practitioner on the Fylde Coast to offer HD Brows and Henna Brows training.

My passion for supporting people naturally expanded beyond beauty. Since then, I became a Reiki Master Teacher (2014) and completed my training as a Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher (2015), I qualified in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Level 2 Counselling Skills at Blackpool & The Fylde College. These additional qualifications allow me to offer a more holistic approach, supporting both emotional and physical wellbeing.

I also offer Relaxing and Nourishing Therapies and specialise in therapies and Cancer, providing gentle, tailored treatments for people living with cancer and their relatives or friends, in a safe, understanding and supportive environment. In addition, I voluteered for 18 months at Trinity Hospice as a complementary therapist and completed additional training in therapies and cancer.
